I went through a few iterations of lighting on this one, mostly over dramatic. Removing some spotlights made this work better.
I’m also trying out a new process of sketching out many comics at once ahead of time. So far it’s helping me understand where things will flow better and allow me to prepare reference in bulk, but we’ll see how it goes after a few more.
The ringmaster’s face looks different to me. Not as sharp. Was that intentional? I’m so glad this is back. I have missed it.
